Lucy Hawking

Lucy Hawking is the daughter of Professor Stephen Hawking. Lucy collaborated with her father on a series of children’s books, working with her father on a wide range of initiatives to engage young students with science.

Ben Glazier

Ben Glazier founded his branding and graphic design agency Glazier Design in 1998. The agency has its main studio in Great Portland Street and works for fashion, PR, law, finance, healthcare and charity sector clients.

Glazier Design created the branding for The Stephen Hawking Foundation, the Einstein Hawking Gravitational Theory postage stamps for the Isle of Man Post Office, the Hawking Video for the Bank of England, the illustration of Hawking Radiation, the Hawking Medallion and all the collateral for the Stephen Hawking Interment.

Elizabeth Forrester

Elizabeth implemented Cisco Systems’s brand and corporate communication system throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Subsequently she worked as Grants Manager and assistant to Prof. Peter Schroeder, Computer Science, Applied and Computational Mathematics and Prof Emeritus Gerald J Wasserburg, Geology and Geophysics at CALTECH.

She has over 15 years experience as a freelance professional fundraiser applying her skills to a variety of UK charities.

Elizabeth read Humanities at St Mary’s College and The University of Notre Dame, Indiana, and Directorship, Management and Evaluation of Educational Institutions at the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria in Madrid, Spain.

The registered trade mark “STEPHEN HAWKING”, and other intellectual property rights are the property of the Estate of Professor Stephen Hawking.

Professor Hawking’s family appreciates the continuing interest in Professor Hawking and in naming or associating projects in tribute to him. Professor Hawking’s family requests anyone wishing to use Professor Hawking’s name or reputation for any commercial or non-commercial project (including, but not limited to, biographies, films or plays about Professor Hawking and giving his name to buildings and meeting rooms) to approach the family directly via the email address info@stephenhawkingfoundation.org or care of The Stephen Hawking Foundation at the address below for their approval to do so.

This site has been created for Stephen Hawking’s memorial service, the Service of Thanksgiving at Westminster Abbey, where his ashes were interred near those of Newton and Darwin.
